Pickleball For Parkinson’s is a charity Pickleball event benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation. Net proceeds will go to the Parkinson’s Foundation Southwest Chapter. (This is a non-sanctioned pickleball tournament).

Format
Round robin with games played to 11, win by one.

Winners will be determined from scores and point differential.

 

Divisions

Beginner (2.0-3.0) round robin which will include gender and mixed doubles all together. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the top 3 teams each in women’s, men’s, and mixed doubles teams so 9 teams will receive medals.

There will be a mixed doubles division divided into two pools, intermediate and upper intermediate with medals to be awarded for the top 3 winners in each pool for mixed doubles so 6 teams will receive medals.

The beginner and mixed doubles round robins will take place between 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

Medals will be awarded at 3:30 for these round robins.

There will be a gender doubles division divided into two pools, intermediate (3.0-3.5) and upper intermediate (3.5+) with medals to be awarded for the top 3 winners in each pool so 12 teams will receive medals.

The gender doubles round robins will take place between 3:30 and 5:00pm.

It is possible to play in both mixed and gender doubles, please, indicate your preference during registration.

 

Registration

The Pickleball Live app will be used to register, pay, see schedules, and input scores. Communications will be sent throughout the weeks leading up to the tournament The registration fee will be $60.00 and players who would like to play in both mixed and gender doubles can pay an additional $20.00 to register in a 2nd division.

Players may enter as a team or look under "Players Needing Partners" ​to find a partner.
